JAPAN SUPER SCIENCE FAIR 2014 (JSSF2014) was held at Nagaokakyo, Japan during 8th ~ 12th November 2014.
Members of our lab gave a lecture about the snake-like robot.
The doctoral degree conferral ceremony
The doctoral degree conferral ceremony was held in Suzaku campus on October 4.
Ms. Norzalilah Binti Mohamad Nor in our laboratory has received her doctoral degree. Congratulations!!
BBQ 2013
July 12th, we enjoyed an evening BBQ and a few beers with laboratory buddies. It was hot and humid, but we had a good time.
Bakasemi 2013 (Camp) @ Fukui
On April 27-28, we have a camp and Bakasemi at Rokuroshi-hiland in Fukui Pref.. Bakasemi is the seminar that we compete how we can propose seriously about funny stuff. This year, Prof. Hirose who is the emeritus professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology also joined. Second day, we made ice creams by ourselves.
Advanced Mechatronics Workshop
We organized Advanced Mechatronics Workshop on March 22. Dr. Quan from Harbin Institute of Technology, Dr. Wu from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Prof. Ding from Hebei University of Technology, 8 PhD course students in Malab, and Dr. Wang from Hirai-lab in Ritsumeikan joined the session.

On March 21, Dr. Qiquan Quan and Dr. Xiaodong Wu who are alumni of Malab came to Ritsumeikan to lecture about how things are going.

8 undergraduates and 2 masters course students have graduated our lab on March 20.

We “Team Omni-direction” won the interlaboratory marathon relay race held on Feb. 17th.
Year-end party and new student welcoming party
On 21th Dec., We did the year-end party which is called “Bo-nen kai” in Japan and the new student welcoming party.
*Bo-nen kai literally means “forget-the-past-year party”.
